Merry Christmas

***Update 31/12 - hello, everyone - I will be doing one more mail out of the pattern folio at approx. 9am AEDT 1/1/2015,  so please make sure you have confirmed email subscriptions, or signed up before that time if you wish to receive the pattern folio as this will be the final one! Thanks!

Hello everyone! I mentioned in my previous post that I've been working on a Christmas surprise for my blog email subscribers and I think I finally have all my ducks in a row (but we are talking me, and computers, and the internet - yes, in the same sentence - so who really knows, right?)

I've been working furiously on putting together the "A Little Lime Pattern Folio" - it's a compilation of patterns from my blog along with some drawings featuring the designs for inspiration.

I'm offering this as a free PDF download to email subscribers (existing email subscribers should have already received the email with a link) and, new subscribers during December as my little Christmas gift. I hope you love it!

I'm also currently in the process of working on a new e-book which I'm hoping to have ready for sale later on in the month - it will be a how-to book featuring some of the most asked technique questions that I've received - these are the ones that need more than a quick step-out to explain. I'm pretty excited about it, too!

So, this Pattern Folio is a bit of an experiment to see how it all works, what I can do better, etc. and I would love, love your feedback.

So, how do you get your hands on the Pattern Folio?

Existing  email subscribers: you should have received an email with a link already, check your junk email just in case, and if you can't find it send me an email

Blog followers: if you follow via rss, or some other feed, I am sorry, but I'm not able to send you an email as I do not have your email address or legal permission to email you - you will need to opt in as described below.

New subscribers: please opt in using the "follow by email" button on the right sidebar of the blog - you will need to type in your email address and hit "submit". You will then receive an email in your inbox telling you to confirm your subscription to A Little Lime. You will need to follow the confirmation instructions, which means you will show up as an active email subscriber on my list - I cannot send you the email with a link to the download until you have activated your subscription (it would be illegal for me to do so). I will be checking for any new confirmed email subscriptions once or twice a day and forwarding the download link email then (unfortunately I cannot set up auto responders on my account yet, but I am working on it!). You will receive an email with the link to download the book within 24 hours, though. waiver: unless I come down with a horrible virus or something. lol.

Now, fingers crossed, let's hope it all works. I'm a little bit scared........you?

Have a great weekend!

Challenge #147 - Boo.Kee

Oh happy day! Yesterday was my last day at school........not just for the term........but forever! I finished up one week early due to orientation, school concerts etc. Bonus!!! I am now back to my most favourite job as a full-time, home-based mum after a 5 1/2 year hiatis. I wonder if my husband will now expect the house to be tidy and dinner to make it to the table before 8.30pm? haha.....probably not.

I have also been busy, busy working on a Christmas surprise for my blog subscribers which I am hoping to have on the blog within the next week - are you excited? I am. LOL. It's ready to go, but......I am in the process of ironing out blog/internet/html.......gaaah. I hate that stuff! All the research into making these things work within the limitations of blogger gives me a big, fat headache! I just want to draw.

This week's challenge was to use Boo.Kee - I loved the look of it as soon as I saw it - circles are a favourite for me.

I did have a bit of a Christmas tree theme in mind, or a zipper thingy (ummm, yeah, one of things of which we do not speak) but then my pen took over and this is what happened instead.

Have a fabulous week!
